cARDIO, STRENGTH, AND TONING ALL IN ONE CLASS

Our fitness kickboxing class is a great mix of these 3 components. It is great cardio. Non-stop action from start to finish is what we are going for. We also are able to work on toning and strengthening throughout the class by incorporating some medicine balls and weights into the class. Adding a little weight has great benefits. We try to make sure everyone hates our instructors the next day :) haha. The reason I wanted to talk about this today is because I have been asked a lot recently what our classes are like. Besides the obvious punching and kicking on the bag, we do this other stuff to :)

wORKOUT MOTIVATION TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE

I am sharing a video today from a motivational speaker whos name is Eric Thomas. He has a fantastic message about being motivated in life. This Lion mentality will help you be successful in life. I encourage everyone reading this to take 5 or 10 minutes each day for yourself and read or listen to some motivational material. Just a little break to help you get refocused and re charged. Progress is progress even if it is slow.

In todays world things are instant. If you want to buy something you can go on amazon push a button and have it at your house that day if you want. If you want to watch a tv show you can just talk into your tv remote and it will come on the screen. It is important to remember that success is not instant. It takes time and consistent effort. You might not see the results you want after a day or two or even after a week or two. But you will see progress and that is the important thing . You have to be able to see the little progress day to day or week to week. Keep doing that and eventually you will see the goal you want :)

Balance in your diet

Hard work will get you in good shape. But what you eat is very important. Think about it like this. Your car runs on gas. How well would your car run if you filled it with apple juice? Apple juice might be good for us but not for a car. So you have to fuel your body with the right fuel. Your body has the amazing ability to heal itself and grow muscle to deal with the stress we put on it. Just remember your body can't do that very well if your fueling it with donuts and pepsi. Be aware of how your fueling your body and ill see you in for class :)
