Staying motivated with your workout can be a difficult thing sometimes. What I tell people is that if you dont write it down then you will not do it. It is not set in concrete until it is written down. Some people are good and managing schedules in their head and that is great. But for the rest of us, me included, if I dont write it down then there is a good chance I will forget. So with your workout routine, I encourage you to set a schedule and stick to it. Even if there is a day when your feeling tired or you might just not want to. You enjoy the workout and you enjoy the class but you will still need to force yourself to go from time to time. That might sound weird, but hear me out. I once was talking to an artist on the boardwalk. This is a true story. He was drawing those funny pictures of people and my daughter told him she liked to draw and was trying to get better. So he sat in the chair and let my daughter draw him. So in conversation I asked him if he loved what he did. Of course he said yes. This was his life and he was able to make a living from doing it. I then asked him if there were ever times when the though of picking up that pencil one more time was the last thing he wanted to do. He replied very quickly with a OH YES! Many times. He said but you do what you have to do. I know I love this but sometimes it can be painful. That doesn't mean I want to quit. So I hope sharing this story helps.
